Lately I have been finding myself shooting a lot of portrait sessions. Portraits are my favorite, because of the one on one time you spend with your subject. I have been shooting portraits for over ten years going back to my time in LA. My old friend, Joe, needed some updated head shots, so we cruised around Austin and had an afternoon of laughs. Did I mention he is absolutely hilarious? Joe is represented by Heyman Talent Agency.

Ever have one of those days where you just wake up in a good mood? That happened to me today and it was really nice to float around on good vibrations. Happy Friday.
If you are looking for an entertaining view, good drinks and food, head over to Justine’s on East 5th. Waaaaaaay East 5th. My friend, Alana, always has good things to say about sitting at the bar and meeting people there, so we did just that. The wait on a Saturday night was over an hour, and since there was just the two of us, we opted for the bar. I had a French 75 and we shared the Moules Frites and the Bolognese. It was all amazingly delicious. We listened to Ray Charles and Serge Gainsbourg all on vinyl and met the most delightful Brazilian lady called Sylvia who was in Austin for a few days. An artist, she was full of life and lots of fun to chat with. The night ended with hugs and air kisses.
Moss hosted a super cute event with us yesterday afternoon. I forgot my camera, which I was kicking myself for…so I made do with the iphone and some creative editing. The Sabia ladies were doing buns, braids and pony’s for sweet Summer styling. It was a lovely afternoon of fun, fashion and fizzy drinks!
